Fer à Cheval
by the Seghin family
Located in the heart of the Phocaean city, the Fer à Cheval Savonnerie has been able to perpetuate ancestral know-how from generation to generation since 1856. In 1900, during the Universal Exhibition, the company won the gold medal for the quality of its soaps. From buyouts to mergers, it was in 2003 that the Seghin family decided to revive the original brand by flying high the colors emblematic of its know-how and making it shine in France and internationally. Today, this company remains the oldest active Marseille soap factory. Anchored in Living Heritage, it continues to make its flagship product by hand and using techniques of yesteryear, while developing a range of products essentially dedicated to home maintenance. A brand that has managed with talent to maintain its identity, know-how and maintain an art of living within our houses.
