Super Flacon
by Hubert Michaux and Victor Cerruti
Since 2020, Super Flacon has been delivering and producing local cleaning products in Paris in the 18th arrondissement, local cleaning products, delivered to your home and returnable, like the milk bottles of yesteryear. Vituperating against ordinary green-washing, our two acolytes decided to resume the entire manufacturing process by aiming for carbon neutrality, which implies glass bottles, a company located within the distribution sites, revised compositions, revised compositions, the elimination of plastic, cold manufacturing. Sold in a few local shops, the products are mainly delivered to your home by cargo bike. Once finished, the bottles are collected, brought back to the warehouse before being refilled. Driven by word of mouth, and its presence in organic stores, this brand is enjoying some success with loyal customers thanks to the instructions that allow it to reduce the cost of each bottle by €1. Initially launched around laundry, Super Flacon has expanded its range to include almost all cleaning products, its ambition being for this concept to be extended to as many people as possible, including large-scale retail stores, without losing its DNA.
Inspirations
Reduce your carbon footprint by using and creating products that are good for you and the planet. The glass bottles come from Chalon-sur-Saöne, but all the rest of the manufacturing and distribution process is located in their workshop in the 18th arrondissement.
Values
Put a big foot in the system with 2 objectives: deliver great products and really reduce the carbon footprint. A design full of common sense at all stages of manufacturing and distribution.
Products
Cleaning products that exclude plastic, useless waste, controversial ingredients, controversial ingredients, useless cardboard boxes, useless pallets..., ranging from detergent to dishwasher liquid, from anti-limescale to window cleaner.
We can only praise this very beautiful initiative that fills all the boxes of eco-responsibility throughout the production chain until its distribution. We can regret a visual that is not particularly dreamy, on the other hand I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the products and in particular the detergent, which beats all records in terms of quality/price ratio. A concept that is really worth the detour for daily use at a controlled and ecological cost.
